Travis Stanley “Stan” Barnes, Jr.
Mr. Barnes, Managing Partner of the Allen Mooney & Barnes family of companies, is a Registered Principal, a Registered Investment Advisor Representative and a General Securities Representative. He also maintains insurance licenses for life, variable life, health, annuities and property and casualty insurance. A Certified Financial Planner and a Chartered Life Underwriter, Mr. Barnes is a member of the Financial Planning Association, the Estate Planning Council, and is a life member of the Million Dollar Round Table. He chairs the Investment Committee of the Big Bend Hospice Foundation and the Leon County Investment Oversight Committee. Before he joined the firm in 2005, Mr. Barnes was Vice President of BB&T Landrum-Yaeger where his responsibilities included the oversight of employee benefits and financial services. Prior to that, he was a principal with the Tallahassee firm of Toole-Barnes & Associates, which later merged with Landrum-Yaeger & Associates, Inc. Before moving to Tallahassee in 1990, Mr. Barnes was an Investment Analyst and Bond Trader with the Corporate Investments Division of Metropolitan Life in Atlanta and New York City. Mr. Barnes received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington & Lee University and a Masters of Business Administration from Emory University.
