Richard G. Mooney III
Mr. Mooney, Founding and Managing Partner of the Allen Mooney & Barnes family of companies, is a Registered Principal, a Registered Investment Advisor Representative, an Equity Trader and a General Securities Representative, as well as holding his insurance licenses for life, variable life, health and annuities. Previously, Mr. Mooney served as Vice President of the Thomasville office of Shields & Company. Prior to 1989, he joined M. H. Allen, Jr., in a partnership arrangement with Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith, Inc., managing the Thomasville offices of the firm. Mr. Mooney was also a Vice President with the Citizens and Southern National Bank in Thomasville, supervising the Marketing Department and serving as a commercial lending officer where he specialized in Trust services for corporations and high net-worth individuals. Earning his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Georgia Southwestern University, Mr. Mooney is a graduate of the Banking School of the South at Louisiana State University, the Georgia Banking School in Athens, Georgia and C&S Bank’s Commercial Credit and Lending School at Georgia State University.
